“Memory of Love is a music festival about relationships and their inner meanings. Hence, it is not merely a musical experience; it is also a festival about love. Music is often the intimate medium through which memories of special joys and sorrows are channeled and lovers are reminded of the intimate moments they have shared together. More than that, CMFW’s fall festival, Memory of Love, celebrates the importance of lovers “creating music” together without explanations…even without words. It is a passionate journey through the inspirational music of Vivaldi, Rachmaninov, Mendelssohn and many others, in which we discover our ability to create joy and mystery within our very beings. And these acts of creation are also acts of love. We are reminded through music that memories of love can emerge from the corners of our minds, because inspirational music never stays “quiet” or hidden in the past. Because Classical Music For the World believes that artistic music, like the beauty of nature, should be free for all to enjoy, we do not charge admission for our performances. However, tax-deductible donations are gratefully accepted to help continue our mission.
