CAPITOL PEACE CONCERT 2021
Presented by Classical Music For the World
September 21st, Noon to 1PM
Texas Capitol Rotunda 1st floor
1100 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701 Parking Information
This peace concert is sending out a message to inspire and unite people through the medium of classical music from the heart of Texas on the UN International Day of Peace.
This year, our carefully arranged music selections will be performed for memorializing those who have died from the pandemic and political violence throughout the world. We hope the music we share will comfort families and friends who are grieving from the loss of loved ones
Considering the current COVID-19 situation, we are minimizing the number of participating musicians, so most of the programs will be solo performances except a string ensemble’s “Arirang”, a traditional Korean folk song.
